If I'm only adding a few facts I'll add it to both my Ancestry Tree and RM manually. Using a split screen makes it easy to look at both programs.
If I've a lot of work to do i.e. adding a large number of folks to a branch, I'll do it in Ancestry then export a new GED file to RM. Once I have an updated RM file I simply delete the old one so I don't confuse them.
