Like you said, FTM is the only program that you can feed info from ancestry.com. I've been looking at reviews for FTM, however, and they are not very good.

If one is using another genealogy software, say RootsMagic 6, does that mean that all the data that I have in ancestry.com would need to be entered into that program? If one were to do that, is there a reason to keep ancestry.com?
