Beulah, my great, great grand father was in the 3rd TN Calvary. His name was Bartley McMurray. He was captured with his company by Nathan Bedford Forest at a railroad trestle. He was shipped to either Cahaba or Andersonville prison. When released he was on the Sultana. There is a picture of East TN survivors that appears on the web in many of the Sultana web sites. We have a family picture of him and recognized him in the attached photo. He is the gentleman in the first row far left seated with the cane. His father and uncle both fought in the Rev. War after coming over from Scotland
