I am in the process of writing a book on soldiers of the Civil war entitled "ONE MOMENT OF GLORY--A TRIBUTE TO OUR CIVIL WAR SOLDIERS OF EAST TENNESSEE". I do biographical sketches of soldiers of East TENNESSEE who were in the Civil War. So far I have over 200 pages of local soldiers and many photos. If you have a biographical sketch of a soldier who was in the Civil War, I would love to include him in the book. Or if you just have a name i can do the rest. Target publication in about a year. I would especially like to have photos of soldiers who were on the Sultana. My only goal is to give these men recognition for the sacrifice they made. This is a project I have devoted the last year to. Contributions are welcome; however, most of my profiles are self generated from Civil War rosters.
